Hickey’s TIMBER MART is a Newfoundland owned and operated family business serving the community since 1973. Starting in a garage, with a van and a supply of windows and doors, Jim and Mary Hickey began Hickey’s Building Supplies. Forty-five years later, a part-time venture turned into a complete building materials and hardware store with four locations; the first two in Upper Gullies and Harbour Main, followed by Torbay Road in St. John’s, then in 2022, Main Road Goulds.
As Newfoundlanders, we’re proud of our local roots and how much the family business has grown over the years. We proudly sponsor the Annual Timber Cup Hockey Tournament and it’s become a community tradition. We’re committed to our customers and the community.
